Great location Could have been cleaned a little better in places. The drawers in the kitchen needed fixing but we’re still workable Very comfortable and spacious would go back.

We had a nice stay at Stickle Ghyll Lodge but there are some improvements that need to be made. The decking looks run down and could do with a clean / paint. The sofas are very hard and uncomfortable, these could do with replacing and the drawers in the kitchen are stiff / hard to open and close. The path leading up to the lodge (just down from the steps) was very muddy which was a pain. Some gravel would be useful here to stop shoes getting dirty before entering the lodge.Other than these things, the lodge is great. It has everything you need, the views from outside are brilliant and the hot tub is an added luxury. We would stay here again but a few small changes would make a massive difference.

Thank you for leaving a review, Ben. We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay and would recommend to others. We note and shall advise the owners of the further comments you have kindly raised, thank you for these. Any maintenance on the decking is usually carried out in the quieter months due to the amount of guests staying through summer and it is not always practical to be addressing these then. The paths outside the lodge are the responsibility of the park and we will pass on your comments to the park management for their consideration. We are delighted that you otherwise found it a great lodge and location. Stickle Ghyll is a popular place to stay and we really hope that you return again soon.

Overall, had a great stay. Location great, views beautiful. Great hot tub and spacious lodge/rooms with good storage. General maintenance needs attention-cupboard doors loose and difficult to open some, draining board and bucket to wash dishes in need bleached as grubby and oily. Shower sealer all mouldy and needs replaced. Smell of damp/drainage smell coming from main bathroom on the corridor. Sofa could do with being replaced or cleaned. Could do with more forks and glasses. One of the bathroom bins hadn't been emptied which likely mistakenly forgotten but not ideal. A few easy fixes and a bit of attention to some areas could make lodge appearance so much better.
