Lakeside 1 is a modern and welcoming holiday lodge with hot tub. With two bedrooms and a cosy living area with patio doors that lead out onto the spacious decking, this is a great place to relax and unwind or equally as a base to explore the stunning lake district.
The lodge is well equipped and has the added bonus of being close to the lake and marina on white cross bay, a lovely location on the Park. This modern and cosy lodge will comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests and 2 well behaved dogs making it perfect for a family or a couple visiting the Lakes. Lakeside 1 offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday and we think you will love it.

- Hen and Stag parties are not permitted at this lodge or on the Park
- A security deposit is required at this property for all single sex groups under the age of 25 and for a group booking of 3 or more under the age of 21
Location
Located on a five star holiday park with marina on White Cross Bay. You will find Lakeside 1 situated in the Lakeside area. A superb location on the park.

Reviews
My honest review is on TripAdvisor as I just couldn't believe the state of the place and needed unsuspecting people to know before they part with their money, as its not a cheap place to hire, its dreadful..
1, the exterior of the lodge is shameful whoever owns this place should be ashamed of themselves. Dead plants and dirty mats greet you, and the extremely slippy and dirty decking.
2. filthy stained carpets as you enter, being dog friendly is no excuse.
3. smell of damp in the hall toilet and twin bedroom greets you, it is very bad, I wouldn't put my dogs in that bedroom let alone children, even the bed linen stinks of damp in that twin bedroom.
4, the TV is not a smart one, hardly any channels work, and instead there is a CD player, minus any CD's
5. they advertise it as a modern Lodge which is totally inaccurate.
6. best parts of the Lodge is the hot tub, the double bed was comfortable and clean, the shower was good too.
7. the worse part was I slipped and hurt my knee badly near the front door on the decking so had to leave a day early, both dogs returned home with fleas so thanks for that, neither of my dogs have ever had fleas thankfully, so it takes 5 days in this place and they return home with fleas, this place needs fumigating as neither dog had any interaction with any other dog one is 12 and other is 14, the place needs deep cleaning as well as some serious maintenance on this unloved place.
We would never stay ever again.
This lodge is in a good position, hot tub great, heating and hot water perfect.
The down side, not enough plates or basic utensils in general, but I did get more mugs and water glasses when I requested them on arrival. The bathroom definitely needs redecoration and the whole property looks very tired it doesnt give a good impression when there is the old stalk of a dead plant rotting in a plant pot on the patio.
This property could be great with a bit of a makeover.
A perfect location for enjoying the inner Lakes, on a well appointed holiday site. The lodge was one of the most comfortable ones we have stayed in, especially the beds. A very practical, well resourced lodge with a beautiful hot tub. It was a joy to stay here and we would definitely consider staying again.
