A delightful property located on Limefitt Park in the heart of the Lake District. Superbly placed to explore the area or simply to relax and unwind… with beautiful scenery and many walks direct from the park along with an onsite bar and restaurant this lodge is sure to be the place for a fabulous holiday.
With two bedrooms, the master ensuite, and a spacious living and kitchen area, this fully equipped and well presented lodge provides a relaxing place to stay.

- Bowness Lodge is accessed by 3 wooden steps. The lodge is then on the same ground floor level
- Travel cot and highchair are available to rent on request for an additional £10 per item (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)
- Hen and Stag parties are not permitted at this lodge or on the Park
- A security deposit is required at this property for all single sex groups under the age of 25 and for a group booking of 3 or more under the age of 21
Location
Bowness Lodge is located in the Fellside area of Limefitt Park, affording good views of the Lakeland fells. The park is located in the quiet and pretty Troutbeck valley, yet close enough to the many picturesque towns and villages that the Lake District has to offer. A fantastic park for taking time out.

Reviews
I have already reviewed this Lodge and I repeat it looked lovely on arrival. Bright and clean. The hot tub was filling and was a huge bonus. However the place was quite shabby. Peeling damp ceiling in ensuite ...wall paper in smaller bedroom was lifting. The towels provided were shabby, the top of the chest of drawers was lifting off and the dishwasher front front was peeling. None of these things are the end of the world . My biggest issue was that the twin beds were so uncomfortable that sleep was an issue. The mattresses were not suitable for adults
We were very happy with our stay, the lodge was fantastic for us and our dogs, very comfortable and clean and the hot tub was an added bonus, very welcome after a day of walking.
Everything was perfect during our week long stay at bowness lodge. The Lodge is spacious, clean and comfatable with everything you need to make it like home.
The park is in a beautiful location, perfect for walkers with some excellent pubs near by (the queens head in particular was amazing)
The service from the team at lakes cottages and lodges was excellent. Really happy all round with our stay
